Logistics Manager

 

Job Description 
Responsibilities

• Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials.
• Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments.
• Recruit and train of warehouse personnel.
• Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
• Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients’ criteria.
• Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs.
• Understand, work with and possibly help to develop e-commerce.
• Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain customer service logs and safety records.
   

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5+ years’ field logistics experience.
• Able to manage time effectively.
• Resourceful, independent team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software.

Warehouse supervisor 

Job Description 
Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations in warehouse.
• Ensure goods are received and released accurately both physically and in system.
• Ensure that cargoes in warehouse tallies with inventory report generated from system. Maintain 100% cargo accuracy.
• Supervise and responsible for stuffing and un-stuffing of containers
• Ensure operations, safety and security SOPs are being followed accordingly.
• Responsible for reporting of any suspicious / dangerous activities to Operation Manager.
• Update of warehouse maintenance activities.
• Act as a point of contact between customer service and warehouse officers\
• Responsible of ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse.
• Assist to set up SOP for new customers.
• Responsible for weekly inventory cycle count and providing results to customer service.
• Sending of inventory balance reports to customers if required.
• Ensure documentation of incoming & outgoing cargoes are in place.
• Generate reports from system for analysis.
• Motivate and train staff as and when required.
• Providing assistance to Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Min. 3 years of experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding industry will be on advantage.
• Candidate must be meticulous, well organized.
• Able to work independently in a fast pace environment.

• Proficient in process review and knowledge of accounting guidelines and standards.
